For the grassland harvesting in 2025, the Slovenian producer SIP will present a large-scale tedder. This is the SPIDER HD 1700|16 T which, according to the company, draws on 13 years of experience in hevay-duty tedding technologies.

As its name suggests, this machine has 16 rotors with a diameter of 1.45 m and a working width of 17.50 m. SIP announces a work capacity of 25 ha/h with an 80 HP tractor. While working, ground tracking is ensured by a hydropneumatic suspension allowing the tedder to adapt to the terrain perfectly, while , according to the manufacturer, minimising soil compaction.

The machine is controlled using the tractor’s distributors. For models equipped with a terminal, an ISOBUS module is also available, a first with tedder category for the Slovenian.

The tedder rests on a transport chassiss for comfortable road travel. Not exceeding 3 m in width and with a total length of 7.50 m, it weighs 4.2 t.
