The 29th AGROTECH International Fair for Agricultural Technology, one of the most important and largest agricultural fairs in Poland, took place in Kielce, from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 March. The fair was attended by 520 companies from 17 countries, spread over an exhibition area of 63 thousand m2, where the most modern machinery, agricultural technology and other agricultural materials could be seen.
Each year, the fair presents a number of prizes and awards. This year, SIP was among the AGROTECH medal winners and received a gold medal for its innovative drive system, which ensures high performance and easy operation of the latest DISC HD 1000 D double mower combination. The nomination was submitted by our Polish branch SIP Dystrybucja PL from Komorowo. The award ceremony was attended by SIP Sales Director Andrei Cosovici and Polish Sales Manager Janusz Ferenc.
The Fair and our stand were full of events and we organised several meetings and gatherings with our partners and users of machinery in Poland. On Saturday we also announced our new, second SIP Ambassador in Poland. This is Jacek Kalak from the Kalak farm in the southern part of Poland, which cultivates 400 ha of grassland and has recently become the new owner of the award-winning DISC HD 1000 D FS mowing combination. Mr Kalak has now joined the Ciasnoch family farm, where he and the talented Polish SIP team will be working together to raise awareness of the benefits of SIP’s robust grassland harvesting machinery among farms and agricultural businesses, and thus help to raise awareness of our brand in Poland.
