1. The safety pins hold the spring tines in the event of breakage.
  2. Robustly mounted spring tines around the holder.
  3. Spring tine holders made of round tubes.
  4. Main rotor plate made of 4 mm steel.
  5. Lower reinforcement ring.
  6. Welded rectangular profile in the HD line.
  7. Robust casts for gearboxes and gears in semi-liquid grease with a lubricator for quiet and smooth running.
  8. Different lengths of spring tines, with the inner tine shorter than the outer, prevent forage contamination.

The modular construction of the connected segmented rotors allows a wide range of vertical adaptation to the ground even on difficult terrains. At the same time, linked safety railings give the machine stability and rigidity while working.

The double safety clutch, specially developed for tedders from the HD line with a working width of 13 and 15 m, protects the rotor system by dividing the transmission of the driving torque to each side of the machine separately. In case of machine overload, it prevents damage to the drive.

The finger clutch on each hinge for smooth and quiet running and load reduction. The finger clutch drive is maintenance-free and ensures reliable power transmission in all operating conditions.

A = 2W + S + ∆
B = 4W + S + ∆

W – cutter bar working width
S – windrow width
A, B – working width of the tedder
∆  – additional tedder overlapping

Example:
For a mower with 6 discs with a working width of 2.60m (W) and a row width of 1.50m (S).

A = 2W + S + ∆
A = 2*2.60 + 1.50 + ∆
A = 6.70 + ∆

B = 4W + S + ∆
B = 4*2.60 + 1.50 + ∆
B = 11.90 + ∆

The right tedder for the 6-disc mower has a working width of at least 6.70 m. In this case, the ideal tedder would be SPIDER 685|6 (A) for overlapping 3 windrows or SPIDER 1100|10 (B) for overlapping 5 windrows.
