At the 29. International Fair of Agricultural Technologies AGROTECH, which took place from 8 to 10 March at the Kielce Fairground in Poland, we announced this year’s new SIP Ambassador – Mr Jacek Kalak from the Kalak Agricultural Estate in the southern part of Poland.
Jacek Kalak runs a larger farm in the village of Gorzupia, located in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship. They are dairy farmers and use the most advanced farming technologies. They keep a total of 320 head of cattle, including around 270 dairy cows, which are housed in modern, animal-friendly stables. The farm has 400 hectares of land, with 130 hectares dedicated to grain production, focusing on barley and wheat, while the rest is used for grass and maize silage, as well as alfalfa. Every year they have four cuts and it produce around 4,000 tons of grass silage and 1,000 tons of alfalfa.
Last year, Mr Kalak decided to purchase a SIP mower combination – rear double mower DISC HD 1000 D with steel finger conditioner and conveyor belts and a front mower SILVERCUT DISC 340 F FSC with S-FLOW hitch and steel finger conditioner. Being very impressed by the mowing combination and the robustness of the SIP machines, he decided to modernise his entire grassland harvesting line with SIP machines in the near future.
He is positively surprised by the simplicity of the SIP technology, which allows for long-lasting use. He is also pleased with SIP’s after-sales support and 3-year warranty, which he will be happy to spread the word about to friends and colleagues.
